Merqy. Weird electronic behaviour - dead battery symptoms? 1. if I don't drive my car for a few days it almost always starts immediately with a single start button press, so that I am not able to turn ignition on - it'll just start, even though the brake pedal is not depressed. If I drive day by day it never happens.
2006 BMW 325i Mileage: 66,000 Symptoms - Extreme vibration and shaking of the entire vehicle at low RPMs with multiple codes as listed below. Engine vibration and shaking worse on cold start and when in reverse. September 2013: Dealership Fix - Recommended draining fuel tank due to "low grade fuel". Codes cleared. Techron fuel additive added.
E90 / E91 / E92 / E93Model Year: 2006 My GUESS is the electrical problems resulted due to low battery voltage. You may just have a bad battery-BMW will
i see you have not had your battery die, warning icons come up on the dash in the form of a battery advising battery is low. I had this happen for a few weeks before I had mine changed. my car is an 07, OP 4-5 years might be the average lifespan. another point, I had to have mine upgraded and coded in properly.
If it's >14V, then current is going to your battery as the battery voltage is less than 14V. If the cable is warm, then you have excess current going to the battery. This assumes your alternator is working normally. If this cable is warm without the engine running, you have some parasitic current draw.
noisy when in neutral. transmission malfunction message. hard transmission shifts instead of smooth ones. gear changes are erratic and may bump in one or more of the gears. the engine revs but doesn’t shift. lag when switching gears. check engine light illumination. fault codes. transmission or engine overheating.
mEV3rt. To delete BMW Adaptive Headlights, you need the scan the code. Use NCS Expert on eBay and configure it to think that adaptive headlamps are not installed. When this is done, the adaptive headlight functions are disabled. Low beams no longer move, and adaptive high beams no longer turn on automatically.
Tlee123 said: 2008 E90 325i with very heavy steering. No fault codes. Only major change was I had a flat battery that needed a full recharge Tlee123 said: It's an electric steering system, not hydraulic. Also, it's not just heavy when compared to other cars; it's heavy to the point of not being able to drive.
Solved. MAP sensor/ pressure sensor. I’ve never seen a fault code like this. Charge plausibility, diagnosis, cold-start strategy bank 2. ISTA prompted me to run a test on MAF (MAP sensors) , and throttle actuators. MAF / intake pipe tested OK. Both actuators appear to have load faults. I did not have battery charging during this process.
Wow, 300 subs! Thank you!! http://instagram.com/codermancomOwnership of the M3 has been fairly easy, only wear items seem to need attention. One of those we
2. When measuring the battery with the engine on, the battery is on 14.2v (charging state from what i have read, meaning the alternator works). But after driving the car, turning the engine off and turning the ignition on. The battery low warning comes on in like 5 minutes. (already replaced and coded battery with a new one so it isn't that)
If you get a low reading at the battery and want to rule out a wiring fault, then proceed to measure at the alternator as well to verify. Yes, charging voltage. Which due to the IBS system in your car can be anywhere from 13.x to 15.x V at idle. Anything below 13.x is most likely a dead alternator.
