Although the Delta Comfort seats are quite close to the first-class cabin and have more amenities than Coach, they are much less expensive than first class. This is especially notable since Delta 767-300 first class (an internationally-configureed aircraft) is nowhere near as nice. The seats have a decent amount of recline in them, which will Delta Premium Select is Delta’s first-class cabin fare class. Delta Premium Select, a First Class fare class marketed as Discount First Class, can be purchased for as little as $199 USD. This means that Delta Premium Select is a First Class fare class on domestic and short-haul international flights, as well as on long-haul international flights. I am a Delta Platinum Medallion, and one of the best benefits is eligibility for complimentary upgrades to first class on paid and award tickets beginning 120 hours before departure. This extends to Delta One flights within the US, and even Silver Medallions can receive complimentary upgrades on the same routes beginning one day before First class seats on the Delta 737-800 are decent. The in-flight entertainment is good. The onboard service (which includes meals) is fantastic.
